troubleshooter. On the NATO cruise we were above the Artic Circle (got my blue nose card) and have never been colder in my life. We were attached to CAW-7 (AG) but our planes tails were AK because we belonged to CAG-10 off the USS SHANGRALA CVA38. We were supposed to have gone to Southampton England After the cruise but ended up at the "Rock" relieving the Roosevelt CVA-42 on Med duty after the Roosevelt threw a screw. |
