For Upgrading My Old 486/66 To A HP 200 Maybe know I can Start To Put A Dent In My Back Log Of Names. So That I Will No Longer Need The Apology Below.

My Apologies
To those who have Sent their names and additional information that I have not added yet. The project has become very large and even though I work on it almost every day, it is impossible for me to keep up. I will continue to add the names and information as quickly as I can.

Thank You All
For Your Support

I worked nite check in the squadron at the time.
The evening prior to loading we could sense that
something was happening, but we did not know what.
We could not secure until all A/C were up. This
was accomplished by about 0230. We were sent home
and told to pack our gear and be back to work in
an hour. That morning the Independence was is
Mayport, and we loaded aboard.

After the blockade was lifted and we returned to
Mayport, we tied up in front of the Lexington.
Unfortunately for VF-13, her airwing was onboard
the Lex and going out for CQ’s. VF-13 off loaded
from the Indy and loaded onboard the Lex.

After all the flying we did during the blockade,
all our pilots were Qual’ed. But the CAG Commander
still wanted us to CQ with the airwing. There were
some really ticked off people in VF-13. When the
Lex left Mayport the next day for two weeks it was
too rough the entire time to conduct flight op’s
