U.S.S. INDEPENDENCE
The Navy combined what would normally be
B and M divisions together into forward group,
#1 and #4MMR was P-1 Division
(Main Machinery Rooms, Indy had combined
spaces fireroom/engineroom together)
#2 and #3 MMR's after group was P-2 Div.
#1 and #2 AMR (Auxiliary Machinery Room,
home of the other SSTG's, and the Evap's,
and the HCLP's, SSMG sets) was P-3 Div.
And the Cat shop, Oil and Water
test lab and Gangs became P-4 Div.
