AIMD Department

IM-1 Division is the administrative arm of the Aircraft
Intermediate Maintenance Department. Through its
five work centers, the division acts to see that the
departmental papermill is flowing at top speed.
Maintenance Admin is the division focal point for all
maintenance related reports and correspondence.
maintaining a close liaison with all departments
and supported activities.
The Quality Assurance / Technical Library is a
double duty outfit that checks quality standards
and procedures throughout AIMD as well as
maintaining a master technical library that holds
maintenance publications on all aviation-related
support equipment and every aircraft aboard ship
Material Control is IM-1's link with Supply and is
tasked with the department's material support,
procuring and expediting the routing of material
for the technical work centers, and also maintains
a master record of all support equipment within the
department.
